►Environment problem on " littering "

This picture is taken from the back alley of a hawker centre in tampines street 81 block 828.Who cause the problem?Inconsiderate people throw litters without knowing the consequences of it. The litters they throw might cause disease-causing insects and rodents. When rain falls , the cigarette butts got washed down the drains and cause wild life mammals like fishes, whales and birds to mistaken it as food and consume it. If litters are not cleared up, it might let out an unpleasant odor which harms the environment and our health too. The unpleasant odor even contributes to air pollution which leads to the greenhouse effect.
Some primary sources of litter:
1) Pedestrians dropping garbage in the street or gutters.
2) Motorists discarding garbage out of windows.
3) Commercial refuse and disposal. Poorly secured
commercial refuse can easily become litter.
4) Construction projects. Litter can come from
uncontrolled building waste and workers' lunchtime
refuse.
5) Entertainment events. Events create a large
amount of litter, which can overflow onto neighbouring
areas when measures to control it are not
carefully planned.
6) Illegal dumping.
7) Intentional or habitual littering, for reasons such as laziness or acts of rebellions.
Recommendations:
1) Write a letter to the cleaning department of Singapore , tell them try to remind workers [ cleaner ] to clean every single small spots that have the possibility of having litters.
2) Design a rubbish bin specially for smokers use only. [ cigarettes user ]
3) advertisement on “ no littering “Reasons for recommendations:1)So that every small spots will be detected and litters will be cleared so it would not cause problems such as breeding of disease-causing insects and rodents.
2)So that it will be more convenient for the smokers to throw the cigarettes.
3)Less people will litter
